Under the Sacred Beech Tree (a Mindful Outdoor Experience)

We will gather in our Animal Family and Wander through the Park. We will connect with and ground our bodies. Walk in Noble Silence as we extend our senses outward. Finding our way to gather under a giant weeping Beech Tree in our secret spirit world, joining hands as we exchange love and gratitude with her roots, trunk, branches and leaves.

We are offering two (2) FREE TICKETED experiences.

Two times: 12 noon – 1 pm & 3:30 – 4:30

Meet at the ChuckWalks table under Pavilion 5 about 15 minutes before start so we can get settled into the moment. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles round trip, over mostly even ground/trails and flat.

Throughout the day, visit with other Mindful Wanderers at our table under Pavilion 5 where we will engage and share together:

– sample Forest Tea (while it lasts)
– Ancestral flint & steel ceremony (1:30pm)
– explore our Gathering of Nature gifts (rocks, crystals, bones, herbs)
– hear Stories from some of our regular Wanderers
– view images from our Weekly Wanders

ChuckWalks is a wellness service that manifested from the life experiences of its leading guide and founder, Chuck Thomas. Chuck is a life-long Wanderer, a Nature connected community builder, a practitioner of ancestral skills, a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, a Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher, trained in MBSR, and is currently studying the Bardic level of Druidry through the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids (OBOD).

ChuckWalks was personally crafted by Chuck and is based on the training and teachings provided by the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership (KSMOL). Graduates of KSMOL are recognized as certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guides (KMOG) and guide folks on nature-based Mindful Outdoor Experiences (MOE).

ChuckWalks’ purpose is simply to invite folks of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds on an adventure into the natural world and guide them through proven mindfulness techniques. The intention is to help them disconnect from their stresses and reconnect with all that Nature has to offer. 💚
