Pottery Wheel Spin Class

Take a spin on the pottery wheel!
***NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY*** Take one class to try it or come back to practice your skills! In this fun introductory class for beginners, you will explore working with clay and learn the basics of wheel thrown pottery including:
Demonstration and Instruction of the process (Throwing, Trimming, Bisque, and Glazing)
Practice wedging and centering clay to make a bowl, dish, or small pot
Learn how to carve with various tools and techniques
Experimentation with textures and glaze combinations
Once you’ve taken a class and are ready to move on, we have open pottery studio time available for you to come and work on the wheel at your own pace to continue your pottery making journey!
