Easton Book Festival 2023 Volunteer Information Session (Zoom)

Are you interested in volunteering for this year’s EASTON BOOK FESTIVAL in October? Are you curious about ways that you can help? Do you need service hours for school, and enjoy books?
The EBF Board will be hosting an information session on zoom on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 8 PM.
There are ways for all to get involved, and we welcome all to be a part of this local festival that celebrates reading and writing.
If you can help out at the events, great! If you are short on time or need to help from home, we have ideas!
If you want in, we welcome you.
Ideas for Volunteers:
*Help set up/clean up for a particular event on the festival schedule.
*Attending and “stand by”-Help the event host or organizer with breaks/bathroom/snack by being available to watch equipment etc.
*Helping with Story Time for Dogs at the EFM. Do you like dogs? Volunteers can help greet pets or read a story?
*Photography and Video- Having people available at different events and angles and sharing photos with us is a huge help!
*Creating videos or social media content at home about books, local authors, favorites, etc. and sending them to us for our facebook page. Share what you read, make a collage of your favorite YA, poetry, mystery, etc. books.
This is a great option for busy students who need to fit volunteering with homework.
