Bring Your Own Drum
Everyone is invited to join the fun at the East on Yoga Drum Circle led by Stephen Hoog
We will be learning some specific African drum rhythms based on djembe drums, working on patterns to develop hand dexterity and just enjoying some free form drum jams.
Stephen has studied with Maxwell Donkor from Ghana, attended numerous workshops with people like Pete Barnhart and Ubaka Hill, and is presently studying with Jim Davidson who runs the Lambertville Drum Circle.Right now there only one extra drum that can be reserved.(an Ashiko).
All skill levels are welcome.
