ABOUT THE FARM
Each year, Easton Urban Farm grows and distributes over 10,000 pounds of produce on our 5/8 acre patch of land in Easton’s South Side. The majority of our produce goes directly to the Neighborhood Center food pantry – attached to the farm. This gives qualified residents access to fresh local-grown fruits and vegetables. Our farm manager prioritizes growing culturally significant crops such as collards, callaloo (Caribbean greens), scotch bonnet peppers, and squash.
Easton Urban Farm’s Caribbean Festival is about celebrating and uniting all the cultures that make up the Caribbean through food, music, games, and education. Revenues from our events support the farm’s mission to continue community involvement and provide volunteer opportunities and training.
