Beginner Pottery Wheel Class (8+)
Take a spin on the pottery wheel!
In this introductory class you will explore working with clay and learn the basics of wheel-thrown pottery which includes the following:
​Demonstration of the process
Practice centering and wedging clay
Experimentation with various techniques
Learn how to make useful and decorative pieces
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY – Take one class to try it or come back to practice your skills!
***Please note: Each participant will attempt up to three pieces. Pieces made in class are for practice only and will not be held. However; if you wish to keep one piece and complete it, you will need to sign up for more sessions to trim and glaze your work.***
Individual Class $39.00 per person to try it or practice! (Keep none OR book a second class to trim or glaze your work.
Ages: 8 and up welcome
Dates: Every Saturday 10:00am – 12:00pm
Supplies Needed: Basic Materials included.
